Hudson Hill Community Center (PB438)

Overall DBE Goal: 20% Local DBE Goal: 10% Work to be done consists of the following generally described items: Construction of a new 4,600 square foot Community Center located on the existing Rebecca Gray Park site at 2227 Hudson Street. The project site consists of approximately 1.7 acres on the eastern side of the park property, at the corner of Hudson St and W. Lathrop Avenue, which was the home of the previous community center which was demolished down to the building slab in 2019. The proposed facility will be of a modern construction style including CMU and metal panel exterior cladding, single-slope and flat roofs, aluminum storefront, and exposed structural beams. The interior spaces include office space, a multi-purpose room, classroom-style space, a warming kitchen and restrooms.
