GEFA Sanitary Sewer Improvements

The work to be performed includes the rehabilitation or replacement of multiple sanitary sewer mains (including lateral reconnections) and manholes within the City of Metter, Georgia. This project also includes the video inspection of all sanitary sewer mains to be rehabilitated and additional sanitary sewer mains throughout the city that are not to be rehabilitated at this time. A schedule of these inspections can be found in the bid package. Specifically, this project includes the following: Daniel Street: 712 LF of 8" pipe bursting from Cedar Street to N. Kennedy Street and replacement of two (2) manholes. Trapnell Street: 469 LF of 10" pipe bursting, 657 LF of 8" pipe bursting and rehabilitation of five (5) manholes. W. Vertia Street: 415 LF of 8" cured in place and rehabilitation of two (2) manholes. Cedar Street: 880 LF of 8" open cut replacement, 420 LF of 8" pipe bursting and rehabilitation of four (4) manholes. Cedar Street (Line NN): See plans for details of construction (base bid and add alternate). Pine Street: 589 LF of 8" pipe bursting and rehabilitation of three (3) manholes. Alley (N. Rountree St. to N. Terrell St.): 1,228 LF of 12" pipe bursting and rehabilitation of four (4) manholes. Terrell Street: 550 LF of 12" pipe bursting, 17 LF of 12" open cut replacement, 759 LF of 8" pipe bursting and rehabilitation of three (3) manholes. Alley (S. Rountree St. to S. Leroy St.): 833 LF of 12" pipe bursting and rehabilitation of five (5) manholes. Ellis Street: Installation of 973 LF of new 8" PVC sewer main and five (5) manholes. Fill 1,042 LF of 6" PVC with flowable fill.
