Perdue Boiler Replacement

Replacement of two (2) hot water boilers at Perdue Medical Center, a Jackson Health System satellite facility at 19095 Old Cutler Road, Miami, FL 33157. 1. Furnish and install two (2) new boilers Aerco BMK4000 GWBF-USA-2RB Benchmark 4000 boilers (or approved equal), one system at time. 2. Selectively demo one (1) existing boiler; existing heat exchangers (laundry and domestic HW); existing piping (as required, consistent with replacing first boiler only); demo all unused pipe, exchangers, and steam related components, condensate, and exhaust in conjunction with replacement of second boiler. 3. Install new cast-in-place concrete housekeeping pad at the new boiler location 4. Core drill for exhaust and intake piping for new boilers 5. Re-use and relocate existing AO Smith mixing tanks 6. Furnish and install two (2) new Aerco plate heat exchangers (or approved equal) 7. Furnish and install new mixing valves for domestic water 8. Replace all associated piping with new piping (consistent with replacing one boiler at a time) 9. Insulate new piping as required 10. Re-use existing pumps 11. The first boiler shall be installed and properly operating prior to completion of demo tasks and installation of the second boiler. 12. Assure the parts function as a system to deliver the defined water temperature.
