As of July 27, 2020, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to April 2021. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Location: Flambeau Correctional Center, Sawyer County McNaughton Correctional Center, Oneida County Project Description The project will identify and evaluate modifications to address water system deficiencies, achieve compliance with DNR municipal water system standards, and make other improvements to the system. The selected alternatives will be designed, permitted and constructed. Previous studies at FCC have recommended replacing Well #1; rehabilitating Well #2; and making modifications to the piping, treatment, and distribution system.
