Grove Street Culvert Replacement Project

The project entails the replacement of an existing cast-in-place concrete culvert with a new precast concrete culvert on Grove Street in the Village of Cooperstown, NY. The project will also entail installation of sanitary sewer main and water main. Base Bid Work for the project generally includes, but is not limited to: 1. Installation of new 8” sanitary sewer mains on Grove Street between Main Street and Glen Avenue. 2. Demolition, removal, and disposal of the existing cast-in-place concrete Grove Street culvert. 3. Installation of new 8” HDPE water main under the new culvert. 4. Installation of a new fire hydrant assembly. 5. Installation of a new pre-cast concrete culvert (5’-9” clear opening upstream end to 7’-6” clear opening downstream end by 8’opening width by 40’ average length) with pre-cast concrete footings and wing-walls. 6. Installation of new rip-rap stone to protect the footings and wing-walls of the new culvert from scour. 7. Installation of new pressure-treated timber guard-rails. 8. Installation of new concrete sidewalk over the new culvert.
