Description

**As of April 10, 2023, project was awarded to United Manufacturing and Distribution LLC., and the awarded amount $38,740.00 .** Sampling of all sludge and liquids for waste profile and determination of remedial action. Work to be conducted by a qualified laboratory. o Removal of waste on site and decontamination of the current tanks (6) units for disposal preparation. o Wash down and decontamination of interior metal support structures and flooring and associated piping to decrease current corrosion from acid vapors and prior historic operations. o Disassembly, cutup and removal of corroded tanks and structures for disposal or recycling where applicable. o Removal of all waste generated by remedial action including tarps and wipes and other debris associated with the remedial activity inside structure. o Post remedial reporting to the City for the structures and remedial actions taken place as port of a final completion plan and post closure plan, inclusive of pictorial guide. For furnishing all material, equipment and labor for the following scope of work: Remediation of 68 Waldron Road Facility Interior - o Sampling of all sludge and liquids for waste profile and determination of remedial action. Liquidated damages are established at $1,200.00 per day. All bids will be opened and considered by the City at a meeting to be held in the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 300 West Evergreen, Durant, Oklahoma, Bidders will be responsible for estimating all costs required for completion of the scope of work and present a lump sum amount in the bid schedule by examination of the sites. After bids have been submitted, the bidder shall not assert that there was a misunderstanding concerning the quantities of work. Information obtained from an officer, agent, or employee of the City of Durant or any other person shall not affect the risks or obligations assumed by the contractor or relieve him from fulfilling any of the conditions or the contract. The City of Durant reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid. Each bid shall be printed in ink or typewritten on the form provided in the copy of proposed contract documents. No alterations, additions, or erasures shall be made on the Proposal Form. The lump sum bid amount must cover all expense for furnishing the labor, materials, tools, equipment and furnish all work required by and in conformance with the specifications and City of Durant ordinances. Each bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Durant, City Clerk's Office, PO Box 578, Durant, Oklahoma, 74702 and identified on the outside with the words. All bids must filed with the City Clerk's Office located at 300 West Evergreen, Room 100, Durant, Oklahoma, 74701. All addenda to the contract documents, properly signed by the bidder shall accompany the bid when submitted. Contractor will be provided a letter authorizing purchases related to this contract to be tax exempt.
