Cleaning Services for the Has Administrative Campus

The Housing Authority of Savannah (hereinafter,"the HAS")is a public entity that was formed in 1938 to provide federally subsidized housing and housing assistance to low-income families, within the City of Savannah and Chatham County, Georgia. The HAS is headed by an Executive Director (ED) and is governed by a five-person board of commissioners and is subject to the requirements of Title 24 of the Code of Federal Regulations (hereinafter, "CFR") and the HAS's procurement policy. Though brought into existence by a Resolution of the City of Savannah, it is a separate entity from the City. Currently, the HAS owns and/or manages and/or is in partnership for: (a) 6 developments totaling 918 units of HUD public housing; (b) 4 Mixed-Finance / Mixed-Income developments totaling 654 units; (c) 350 Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) units; (d) 163 Project-Based Voucher (PBV) RAD units; and over 3,000 Section 8 Tenant Housing Vouchers. The HAS currently has approximately 90 employees In keeping with its mandate to provide efficient and effective services, the HAS is now soliciting bids from qualified, licensed and insured entities to provide the above noted services to the HAS. All quotes submitted in response to this solicitation must conform to all the requirements and specifications outlined within this document and any designated attachments in its entirety.
