Testing and Balancing for New Elementary Campuses

New GUAJARDO Elementary School will consists of a new 1-story elementary school to house grades K through 4, designed to accommodate an optimum student capacity of a maximum of 948 students. This new school building will replace the existing Guajardo ES on the same 10.32 acre site. Demolition of the old school will take place, under separate contract, after completion of the new school building. New BAYOU ROAD Elementary School will consists of a new 1-story elementary school to house grades K through 4, designed to accommodate an optimum student capacity of a maximum of 866 students. The new school will be built on the current site of La Marque Intermediate School which will be demolished prior to construction of the new elementary school building. New SIMMS Elementary School will consists of a new 1-story elementary school to house grades K through 5, designed to accommodate an optimum student capacity of a maximum of 866 students. This new school will be on the same 24.13 acre site of the original Simms ES which has already been demolished.
