Description | The City of Shoreline seeks a Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to meet the business and operational needs of the City for the category of work referenced above. The work shall include, but is not limited to include the demolition and repair of existing fencing and installation of new including, but not limited to, chain link, vinyl coated chain link, decorative metal pedestrian, and wood fencing. All fencing services are requested on an as needed basis. Estimated Annual Contract Value $25,000 - $50,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Term The initial term of this Contract shall be three (3) years with the City having the option to renew for one additional year and shall not exceed $300,000 including Washington State sales tax, whichever occurs first. Questions via phone will not be accepted. Bidders shall submit questions no later than 5:00 P.M. March 28, 2023, Pacific local time. Each bid shall be accompanied with a certified check, cashier's check, or surety company bid bond, on a form acceptable to the City, from State-licensed Surety Company as surety, in an amount not less than 5% of bid amount, payable to City of Shoreline Prevailing Wages: This project is a Public Work as defined in RCW 39.04.010. The Awarded Contractor shall comply with all state laws relating to employment and wages. The hourly wages to be paid laborers, workers, or mechanics shall not be less than the prevailing rates for an hour s work in the same trade or occupation in King County. |
