Description

As of March 2, 2023, bids received were rejected. At this time, it has not been confirmed if the project will be rebid. The City of Lampasas, hereafter called OWNER, is requesting sealed written Bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and performing all Work required for the following Project: Hostess House Structural Remediation Located at: 1406 US-281, Lampasas, Texas 76550 Any bid documents not returned in 2 weeks after bid date April 26, 2022 shall be cashed with no exceptions. Deadline to return is May 10, 2022. Not accepted on May 11, 2022. All qualifying bids will be tabulated and bids will be submitted to the City Council for consideration of award of bid. The City may award a bid either to the lowest responsible bidder or to the bidder who provides goods or services at the best value for the municipality. Loc. Gov. Code 252.043(c) Performance and payment bonds when required shall be executed on forms furnished by OWNER. Each bond shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and shall meet any other requirements established by law or by OWNER pursuant to applicable law. Minimum insurance requirements are specified in Section 00810, Supplemental General Conditions. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any minor informality in any Bid or solicitation procedure (a minor informality is one that does not affect the competitiveness of the bidders). OWNER will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder or to the bidder who provides goods or services at the best value for the municipality. LOC. Gov.
