Redmesa Reservoir Enlargement and Spillway

The objective is to obtain the services of a qualified Consultant capable of designing and managing the Redmesa Reservoir Enlargement and Spillway Project from the initial project review phase through the design, construction, and first filling. The Consultant will be responsible for the following: 1. Reviewing the proposed design as outlined in the 2020 Final Feasibility Study and providing viable alternatives, reviewing and revising the cost estimates as provided in the Final Feasibility Study, and reviewing existing data and making recommendations for further studies that may be necessary (See description of Phase I under Scope of Services.); 2. Preparation of all necessary planning, investigations and design for Redmesa Reservoir and embankment and spillway; 3. Preparation of the construction drawings, design reports, technical specifications, and contract documents for the design and construction of the Redmesa Reservoir and their associated appurtenant structures; and 4. Providing construction management, inspection, and quality assurance testing during construction and oversight of first fill of Redmesa Reservoir.
