2021 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for Critical Home Repair program

Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County has received funding through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 2021 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for our Critical Home Repair program to assist homeowners within McHenry County. Contractors interested in bidding on our projects throughout the year should E-mail their company contact information to info@habitatmchenry.org and identify which of the following work categories they are interested to bid on: Residential Roofing replacement Residential Plumbing repairs & modifications Residential Electrical repairs & modifications Residential HVAC repairs Residential Foundation repairs Energy Auditing Concrete work Blown Insulation installation Spray foam insulation installation Septic system repairs Sewer repairs Well system repairs Gutter installation Tree removal Window repairs / replacement Minority and Women owned businesses and Section 3 business concerns are encouraged to reply. Contractors will be added to our Bidders List and invited to submit bids as projects are identified. Bids will be required to be submitted in writing and sealed, to be opened at a Public Bid Opening. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
