Description

Reference Number 0000322241 The State of Colorado acting by and through the Board of Trustees of Colorado Mesa University for the use and benefit of Colorado Mesa University, is seeking submittals from qualified utility contractors interested in providing construction services for the CMU Geo Exchange Extension; CP-6 Geo Borefield. The Drilling/Looping Contractor (D/L Contractor) shall provide a complete Geothermal Loop Heat Exchanger (GLHE) as shown on the drawings. The GLHE is a closed vertical loop consisting of sixty-six (66) boreholes, five hundred (500) feet deep each. Boreholes are headered into groups of four or six, creating a circuit; three circuits are headered together to form a subfield. These subfields are designated as Subfields A through D. The subfield supply and return lines are piped to the existing vault as shown on the drawing. Time and construction space are critical on this job. Subfields must be drilled and headered in a sequence determined by the General Contractor. Unless otherwise instructed by the Owner's Representative or Architect's Engineer, all subfields will be fully completed prior to moving to the next subfield. The plans require drilling 33,000 feet of new borehole and the emplacement of 66,000 feet of new heat exchanger piping in the 66 new boreholes. The completed depth shall be determined by the placement of the U-bend. The distance from the bottom of the U-bend to final grade shall constitute the completed bore depth. Supply and install all piping and fittings as shown in the drawings. Supply and install new manifold and valves in the existing vault as shown on the drawings. Refer to drawings and specifications fully. Work included in this Contract shall be completed while Colorado Mesa University is out of session for the Summer Break. Said break extends from May 30th to August 15th. General Requirements - Contractors License Required - Installation Required - Insurance Required - License Required - Onsite Maintenance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Question Acceptance Deadline 06/15/2023 01:00 AM EDT Questions are submitted online No
