Bullens Lane Bridge Superstructure Replacement

This project include the superstructure replacement of the existing 62-foot adjacent box beam bridge, which allows Crum Creek to flow below Bullens Lane, with an adjacent box beam superstructure with an 8” concrete deck. Structure mounted guiderail will be installed on the bridge and over the culverts and the existing concrete sidewalk on the downstream side of the bridge will be replaced. Rock scour protection will be placed along the existing abutments in an effort to prevent upstream and downstream erosion and reduce erosion along the roadway embankments. Roadway improvements will be constructed, including mill and overlay at the start and stop of work and full depth reconstruction along the approaches and above the bridge/culverts. Drainage improvements will be installed along the west approach.
