Description | GA/SC Unrestricted MATOC #W912HN18R3000 for Seeded Task Order Repair/Renovate Aircraft Corrosion Control Facility, Building 59: work includes renovating a portion of existing building 59, known as 59D Mechanical De-paint on Robins AFB. Existing building 59 has two separate operational areas, one for painting aircraft (59P), and one for mechanical de-painting aircraft (59D) with a central plant area that separates the two main operational areas. The existing 59D dry mechanical de-painting portion will be renovated into a dual/combination wet chemical de-painting and painting facility. The renovation will include updating the current space to accommodate and safely meet all government standards for this new dual purpose. There are sustainability, but no LEED requirements for this project. Conversion to chemical process in Building 59 with paint process to occur simultaneously in both 59P and 59D. Replace concrete floor to accommodate new sloped floor for drainage to exterior industrial waste collection lift station system. Cleaning of residual paint dusts. Repair dust filtration system, central plant system, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, fans, motors, outside air handling units and associated piping, fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems, security lighting, communication support, roofing system, and electrical systems as called for. Included optional items are roof repair, hangar bay lighting replacement, paint mixing system and projection system, wall-mounted HVAC unit replacements, Paint projection system, paint mixing system, and central energy component replacements. |
