Welding and Custom Fabrication

To award a contract for a 3-year term to a qualified Contractor(s) to provide welding, custom fabrication, hydraulic, and electrical system repairs involved in maintaining a fleet of approximately 2,000 off-road vehicles and equipment items. Hillsborough County operates mowers, mower decks, slope mowers, tractors, dump trucks, boom trucks, loaders, backhoes, excavators, stationary cranes, solid waste trailers, miscellaneous trailers and other equipment that may require custom fabrication. Custom fabrication, welding, machining, installation and repairs are intended to include, but not limited to racks, brackets, pedestals, tarp bar mechanisms, bumper mounted winches, walking floor systems and other related assemblies, as well as repairs and modifications to existing structures.
