Construction of Beechwood Chemical Building

The scope included the construction of a proposed concrete driveway, a new chemical building with a reinforced concrete slab, a sidewalk around the building, and install proposed 1/4 HP pump and 500 gallon storage tank as shown in the provided Contract Drawings and will be constructed in accordance with the Contract Drawings and specifications provided. As of June 23 2022, this project is on-hold as per source. A firm construction timeline is not available. Contractor is responsible for installing and furnishing all necessary equipment, spill containment, furniture, ventilation, fixtures, and all electrical conduit and equipment as shown in the drawings and required to constitute a TCEQ approved installation. No bid maybe withdrawn or terminated for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening date without the written consent of the Engineer. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or a Certified or Cashier's Check upon a State or National Bank ofthe State of Texas in the amount offive (5%) percent ofthe total bid amount. The City of Lake Jackson reserves the right to reject any or ail bids or to accept any bid deemed advantageous. This is a "Public Works" project and provisions of the Prevailing Wage Law on Public Work in Texas must be complied with. Prevailing Wages for Brazoria County, Texas is a part of this contract.
