The Work under this contract includes the furnishing of labor, tools, new materials and current generation equipment to install a complete new chiller replacement in the City of Escondido, California Center for the Arts Central Plant building and testing and commissioning. The Contractor is responsible for proper disposal of all the old equipment. A basic set of plans are being provided in order for the Contractor to know the of work. The Prime Contractor on this project shall have a "Class B and Class C-20" contractor's license from the State of California. The Prime Contractor on this project must do 51% of all the work. The Work under this contract includes the furnishing of labor, materials, tools and equipment, which is required for the completion of the project in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. Engineer's estimate is $250,000. The CONTRACTOR will be required to furnish with the contract a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the aggregate amount of the bid and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%). The CONTRACTOR will also furnish certificates of insurance evidencing all insurance coverage required by the Specifications has been secured. The Contractor shall possess a valid State of California Contractor's License issued by the State Contractor's License Board. The license shall be current and valid at the time the contract is awarded to the Contractor and remain in effect throughout the duration of the project. Notice to Proceed, and shall complete all the Work and improvements within thirty (30) working days from delivery of equipment. |
