| Description | The Consultant will conduct CSL testing on drilled shaft foundations constructed throughout the state, as requested by the Department. Crosshole Tomography (CT) testing may be conducted to further evaluate the integrity of drilled shafts and provide imaging of anomalies by recording 3-dimensional velocity data. CT testing is performed with the same field equipment as CSL testing and can be used to determine the length of existing deep foundations. Physical access to the top of the existing deep foundations is required for shaft length determination. |
