Description | Question Deadline 10/24/2023 Any requests or questions concerning this bid or any of the requirements should be directed the Project Manager: Matt Patzwald, Manager of Technology Services MPatzwald@jklschool.org 1.1 Scope of the Project JKL Bahweting School is seeking a Contractor to propose and install an IP based turnkey solution for a video door buzzer system that will allow office staff to remotely monitor, communicate, and release exterior doors throughout the campus. 1.2 Bid Submission Bid closing is Bid Closing (3:00 PM EST) October 27, 2023 at which time all received bids will be publicly opened. All bids received after closing will automatically be rejected. Bids must be sealed and labeled using the provided SEALED BID LABEL form. Master controllers should be able to handle simultaneous requests from multiple door stations. Overall System o SIP Compliant o All equipment is IP based, capable of being powered via PoE 802.3af o Provide video monitoring of door locations o Allow for multiple master controller locations (currently Main Office and Middle School Office) o Expandable to allow for additional door stations o Ability to label door stations. Program or schedule which doors stations call specific or all master controllers Master Controllers o Dedicated device with large color touchscreen display o Soft buttons for push to talk and remote unlock capability o Ability to unlock door for set time or momentary basis o Integrated microphone and speaker for 2-way communication or handset o Audio and/or visual notification of door station calling Calling Door Stations o Powered via PoE 802.3af o Exterior rated, weather resistant calling stations o Call button to make a request to programmed master controller(s) o Integrated camera to provide video to master controller o ONVIF capable camera for 3 rd party NVR integration and recording (recording audio not required) o Integrated microphone and speaker for 2-way audio communication o LED status indicators (calling, communication, unlock, etc.) o Provide audible buzzer noise at door location to notify while door is unlocked. o Buzzer should not sound during normal unlock scheduling from the access control system. o Video display at door station NOT requested o Integrated access control credential reader is NOT required. o May be proposed as alternative solution. Labor, equipment, and materials to remove existing HID readers and rewire door for integrated reader may be proposed. Keypad features NOT required for reader, if new. Must be compatible with existing access control system. |
