Description

Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3), Counties of Tompkins and Cortland, in accordance with section 103 of Article 5A of the General Municipal Law. TC3 is hereby requesting qualified General or Trade Contractors to submit sealed bids for the following trades. If bidding more than one trade, the cost of each trade shall be itemized on the TC3 Sealed Bid Form. - Concrete - Masonry - Drywall/Framing - Doors/Frames/Hardware - Glass (deletion) Windows (deletion) - Overhead Doors - Floor Coverings - Acoustical Ceilings - Lab Casework/Fume Hoods (previously awarded) - Plumbing - HVAC - Electrical Enclose the bid in a sealed envelope bearing the title for the portion of project being bid, as defined above, the name of the bidder and the date and hour of the bid opening. The scope of work will include total renovations to second floor labs of approximately 6,000 square feet. Plus a 2000 s.f. foot print (only) addition to a first floor lab. Plans and specifications are expected to be released December 28-29, 2022. A Pre-Bid meeting will be conducted in room 150 at 10:00 a.m. on January 17, 2023 at the College 170 North Street Dryden, NY 13053, room 150. Interested bidders should park in one of the main lots, closest to the main building entrance. Upon entering the building, look for the main (east) hallway, which is to the left. Proceed to the south of the building to room 150. See attached campus map. Sealed Bids will be received up to but not after 2:00 p.m. on January 26, 2023 in the Purchasing Office room 216 by Kevin Caveney at Tompkins Cortland Community College 170 North Street in Dryden, New York 13053, at which time all bids will be opened and read. Upon entering the building, bear left up the grand stairs. Turn left at the top of the stairs into room 216. Bid documents are prepared by Ashley McGraw Architects of Syracuse, NY and are dated 12/23/22. Documents may obtained by entering ‘nyplanroom.com’ in any internet search browser.
