In general, the work consists of lead abatement and hazard mitigation work which may include general carpentry, concrete flatwork, painting, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing trades etc Minority and women-owned businesses and small, local, and emerging contractors are encouraged to participate. Bid guarantee in the amount of 5% of the bid amount must accompany each bid (over $25,000) submitted and shall be in the form of a cashier's check, certified check or bond. All projects at or exceeding $25,000.00 require a Payment, Performance, and one-year Maintenance Bond The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity or to accept any bid which best serves the interest of the Owners.
