Classroom Additions (10) Locations

The design/ build services for a 14± classroom addition at specific school sites. Design & Construction services shall be per the "Design/ Planning Principles & Construction Guidelines for Shelby County Schools, latest edition. Design services shall include but not be limited to demolition, civil, landscape, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, life safety, IT, security, intercom, network, EMS, site utility, and interior design. Services shall include all required estimating, value engineering, and due diligence criteria specific to the project as listed in Section III Due Diligence of the SCS design principles. Additional design service expenses shall include all expenses related to AHJ reviews/ approvals including permit application fees and reproduction costs. Construction estimate must be submitted to SCS for review and approval prior to construction commencement. Construction services shall include all construction services and materials for the successful completion of the project per the accepted and approved project drawings and specifications/ project manual. Covered connections and security fencing from the classroom addition to the existing main facility must be included in the design and construction.
