HVAC Improvements Project

The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) removal and installation at Perris High School, the Pathways for adult Life Skills School, Perris Lake High School, Paloma Valley High school, Pinacate Middle School, and District Office All notices, clarifications, and addenda to the Bid docs will be distributed via the aforementioned website. The District shall not be responsible for sending individual notification of changes or updates to any respondents. It is the sole responsibility of the proposer to remain apprised of changes to the Bid docs. Questions regarding this Bid may be directed in writing only, via email, to Sylvia Hinojosa at sylvia.hinojosa@puhsd.org. Questions will be accepted no later than the close of business (4:30 P.M.) on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Each bid must be submitted with security in an amount equal to 10% of the maximum bid, in one of the following forms: (i) a cashier s or certified check payable to the District; or (ii) a bid bond Each worker on the Project must be paid not less than the applicable prevailing rates of per-diem wages in the locality in which the Work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the Contract ( Prevailing Wages ). A copy of the applicable rates of Prevailing Wages can be found on the California Department of Industrial Relations website. The Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. The successful bidder will be required to post all job-site notices required by DIR regulations and other applicable law. If so specified in the Special Provisions, the District will conduct a mandatory conference for the purpose of describing labor-law requirements Substitution of securities in lieu of retention, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, will be permitted as provided in the General Provisions.
