Description

Pursuant to the statutory provisions of the Indiana Design-Build Statute as codified at Indiana Code,5-30-1 et seq. (Design-Build Statute), the Carmel Redevelopment Commission (CRC), as Owner, is soliciting Qualifications from firms interested in providing Design-Build Services for the design and construction of The Palladium Acoustical Upgrades This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will identify Design-Build firms capable of providing the above-mentioned services through the submission of Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) by qualified respondents Respondents. Deadline for submission of written questions and requests for clarification - April 14th, 2023, 5:00 PM The Project shall be finally complete by no later than July 25, 2024. The total design-build contract budget is anticipated to be in the range of $625,000 - $800,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Palladium Concert Hall is working very well for classical music performances but requires a new sound system and acoustical material upgrades to reduce the reverberation time and number of reflective surfaces during contemporary artist performances. Haverstick Designs is performing acoustical testing and generating a 3D scan and model of the space. Bridging Documents will be prepared by Haverstick to include a report outlining the acoustical anomalies found during the testing/modeling process, AutoCAD drawings identifying necessary acoustical treatments (including their type, quantity, and placement in the room), performance specifications and instructions associated with any custom acoustical materials required for the Project. The Palladium Concert Hall is located at the southeast corner of City Center Drive and 3rd Avenue Southwest Questions about any aspect of this RFQ, or the Project, shall be submitted to: Jenell Fairman, Carmel Redevelopment Commission Director, e-mail: jfairman@carmel.in.gov; t
