Description

Tree Removal: The Village of Lakewood has 6 large trees to be removed; located on the Earth Dam and along the spillway at Redtail Golf Club hole/fairway number 2. Access is limited to pickups trucks and small equipment (skid loaders). Most trees will require climbing or mobile spider lift type equipment. Felling whole trees will be allowed in some cases where no damage can occur to earth dam or the spill way. Most trees will require removal by ropes & rigging. No bucket trucks are allowed. Care must be taken to stay out of the wetlands 1. The (2) Cottonwoods on the earth dam 2. (1) large Cottonwood on the northeast corner of the spillway 3. (1) smaller Cottonwood south of the spillway in the Rip Rap 4. The (2) Cottonwood trees on the northwest corner of the spillway near the lake The trees are marked with a white “X” on the tree trunk.
