Description Trimming of trees/limbs and/or the removal of trees located within seven (7) various County Parks that are determined by the County to constitute a hazard due to the impact of Hurricane Florence. Limbs and brush to be removed by the contractor and tree trunks are to be left in an orderly manner. The trees will be marked by the County prior to their removal. The contractor will fell trees/trim trees in a manner preventing injury to remaining vegetation. Also, fell trees/trim trees in a manner that personal property will not be damaged. Tree locations are to be marked by the County prior to start of work and verified after work is completed. Locations and Additional Details: 1. Swinson Park - 145 Swinson Park Rd, Morehead City - 46 hanging limbs 2. Fort Benjamin Park - 100 McQueen Ave, Newport - 3 leaning trees (back of football field) 3. Eastern Park - 450 Hwy. 70 East, Smyrna - 2 leaning trees (near playground) - 6 trees with hanging limbs - 5 stumps to be ground 4. Western Park - 275 Old Hwy. 58, Cedar Point - 14 trees with hanging limbs 5. Salter Path Beach Access - 1025 Salter Path Rd, Salter Path - 8 trees with hanging limbs 6.
