Soccer Complex

The scope of work generally includes the following principal elements: Construction of Approximately 4,060 Yd2 Parking Lot Construction of 150' x 125' Soccer Field with irrigation Construction of 360' x 240' Soccer Field with irrigation Installation of Sports Lighting and Appurtenances Installation of 1,000 of Chain Link Fence Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of bid filed in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Bay Minette. Bid Bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U. S. Treasury Department and is authorized to do business in the State of Alabama. The name, address, telephone number, and contact person for the bonding company shall also be included. A Performance Bond, in the form and terms approved by the City of Bay Minette and in an amount not less than the total amount bid, shall be required prior to Contract execution. Contractor shall furnish prior to Contract execution a certificate of insurance coverage as provided in the Specifications which will include Comprehensive Insurance, Contractor's Automobile Liability Insurance, Owner's Protective Liability Insurance, and where applicable, subcontractor's Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance. All nonresident contractors preparing bids shall submit with the bid documents evidence of a current Alabama Business License, evidence of proper registration with the Alabama Secretary of State (with original seal of the State ofAlabama), as a foreign corporation, and a Certificate of Good Standing as a Foreign Corporation from the State Department of Revenue. Bids submitted by a nonresident contractor without these documents included will be rejected. All bidders must comply with the Presidents Executive Order Number 11246 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex or national origin. All Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Anti Kickback Act and the Contract Work hours Act. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received, and to award in its best interests.

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Bases, Ballasts, and Paving, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Curbs, Gutters, Sidewalks, and Driveways, Athletic and Recreational Surfacing, Site Improvements, Fences and Gates, Planting.
