Description

This project will be planned in two phases: Wing 4D (4th Floor D-Wing); Wing 5D (5th Floor D-Wing). Flooring replacement will need to occur after all current furniture is removed on a separate furniture contract to remove and replace all furniture in both 4D and 5D areas included in this flooring contract. Once current furniture is removed to make way for flooring replacement, walls will need to be patched and painted. It is critical that the vendor works with all parties and the COR to coordinate these timelines. Vendor will communicate and coordinate with the COR and others: the respective Manager(s) or Supervisor(s) for each area; Safety Office; Infection Control; Privacy Office. This flooring contract also aligns with a project to re-wire the data lines in 4D & 5D for a separate Employee Health Records Management Contract. Timing, Phasing, Infection Control Classes, and Risk Assessments will be coordinated after the contract is awarded and before work begins.
