SSBN Lead Septum Foam Replacement

The Contractor shall prepare a comprehensive plan to replace the foam on all US and UK SSBN units afloat and ashore as required. The prepared plan will take into account availability of turn-around assets, the foam procurement process, sequencing of foam replacement on the units, and all other planning factors in order to provide a comprehensive year-by-year plan to adequately address all units. The contractor shall prepare a proofing plan, Unique Repair Procedure (URP), prepare turaround assets and procure materials as needed in support of future implementation of the developed plan. In support of these efforts the contractor shall: 1. Update and submit the SSBN Foam Replacement Plan which will reflect the year-by-year plan. 2. Develop and deliver a proofed Unique Repair Procedure (URP) for all cabinet foam replacement, which includes the procurement of necessary proofing materials, proofing through coordinated government observation and final signoff. 3. Prepare turnaround assets which will include the procuring of required foam and fabricate temporary panels as necessary to deliver modified equipment follows: -Two (2) 011 Cabinet Front Door -Two (2) 012 Cabinet Front Door -Two (2) 011 Cabinet Rear Panel -Two (2) 012 Cabinet Rear Panel -Two (2) 015 Cabinet Front Door -Two (2) 015 Cabinet Rear Panel -Two (2) 581 Cabinet Sound Barrier Assembly -All Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in support of the above, providedfrom an ETS, lab, or non-storage facility, regardless of location, shall be replacedby fabricated temporary replacement panels. 4. Build, test, inspect and deliver two (2) Panel, Fan and Duct Drawer Assembly for 581 cabinet. 5. Build, test, inspect and deliver two (2) of each of the following Fans for 583, 584, 531, 532 cabinets (8 fan assemblies total). 6. Build, test, inspect and deliver two (2) of each of the following completed Fan Housing Assemblies for 583, 584, 531, 532 cabinets (8 fan housing assemblies total) ). All efforts shall be performed in accordance with the T9001B checklist as modified May 21, 2018, Fire Control Type, Operational Support Column, incorporated as part of the basic ordering agreement. Early and partial delivery of completed deliverables are authorized.
