Purchase of Chemical Storage Building

Alachua County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center is seeking a competitive bid for a chemical storage building that meets the following specifications. 1. Exterior dimensions must be at least L 23ft X W 9ft X H 9ft. Exterior dimensions shall not exceed L 24ft X W 10ft X H 10ft. 2. The unit shall be capable of being installed at destination by the customer using 1 or more forklifts. 3 .The unit must be constructed to have 3 partitioned compartments with separate double doors and meet at a minimum 2hr fire rating. 4. Interior shall have at a minimum the following features: shelving, lighting, and containment sump. 5. Separate options for fire suppression can be quoted to be either a standalone dry chemical system or alternatively a water system that can be tied into exterior building water supply. 6. Add on options are requested for powered exhaust systems which must meet explosion proof standards. 7. Freight charges from construction facility to final destination shall be included in quote.
