Description

Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials, equipment, management, supervision, tools, and all other necessary resources to Upgrade Nurse Call System as required by drawings and specifications. The contractor is responsible to perform a site survey and investigation to satisfy themselves as to the extent of the work. Work is scheduled to be performed during the normal daytime business hours of the medical center excluding federal holidays. All work performed shall be fully documented by the Contractor. Construction shall be performed in compliance with manufacturer’s recommendations and applicable Codes and VA Detroit building standards. Perform all work without disruption to Medical Center operations. Normal administrative hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday (Excluding Federal Holidays). Normal working hours shall be between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Authorization to work other than normal working hours will be requested in advance for evaluation and approval by the COR and Contracting. Provide all construction and safety barriers as required by VAMC Detroit. Provide submittals and shop drawings to A/E and COR for approvals.
