Description

Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL has a requirement to replace remove and replace the two sets of hangar doors at Hangar 130 on Eglin AFB, FL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contractors with a size standard of $39.5M. Statement of Magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This is a Small Business Set-Aside competitive acquisition utilizing a best value source selection process and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.3. This project includes, but is not limited to the following, the new hangar doors will be replaced with new structural steel frame, insulated hangar doors rated to 150 mph with impact rated windows. Provide four insulated hollow metal personnel doors with half glass windows, equipped with closers and panic hardware. Install new door openers. Remove and replace hangar door electrical circuits. Replace existing rails and install new rail drainage system that ties into the existing storm water drainage system IAW Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-211-01. New hangar doors shall match the look of the existing historic doors and windows. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the specifications. 8 June 2022 - Formal Release of Amendment 001 The purpose of Amendment 001 is: To clarify email submittals will not be accepted. To change the proposal submittal from the PIEE system to DOD SAFE. As part of this change, a link must be requested NLT than 72 hours prior to the proposal due date of 11 July 2022 at 1200 PM Central (local Eglin time).
