Description | Oconee County, SC is seeking competitive seals bids from qualified contractors to repair existing concrete pads, including, but not limited to, demolition and grading, and pour and finish concrete pad extensions at multiple Solid Waste Recycle Centers and the Solid Waste Complex. Brown, Assistant Director Phone: (864) 638-4141 Fax: (864) 638-4142 Email: kbrown@oconeesc.com A total of nineteen (19) existing concrete pads are in need of repair, thirteen (13) new concrete pad extensions, and two (2) brand new concrete pads. The new concrete pads will be used for a future storage shed and a future large metal garage building. Below is an itemized list of the locations and the approximate concrete needed at each location: The sections within the 19 existing pads to be repaired must be cut and removed, regraded, and dowel in rebar installed into the remaining concrete pads. The repair to the concrete pads may vary in actual size during construction; therefore, final invoiced amount shall reflect the actual size of concrete pad and amount of concrete used. Size listed above is for bidding purposes only. The 13 pad extensions will require minimal demo, grade work, stone placement, and forming. All concrete replacement pads and extension pads located at the Recycle Centers shall be at a minimum of 5,000 PSI and contain fiber. The concrete pads for the future building and future shed will require minimum grading, stone placement, and forming. The concrete for the two large pads shall be at least 3,000 psi and contain fiber. All bids submitted on 06/01/2023 have been rejected. |
