Equalization and Blend Tank Overflow Piping Replacement

Description: o The Contractor will: o On Tank 1, remove the existing 18-inch vertical piping, 18-inch x 12-inch cross, 18-inch x 12-inch wye; o On Tank 2, remove the existing 18-inch x 12-inch cross; furnish and install the specified Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) materials, consisting of 18-inch piping, an 18-inch cross, and connect the new piping to the existing piping for all flanged and welded connections, including the 3-inch odor control piping. Work covered by these Contract Documents in general covers the construction within the following facilities: Structure 257 - Equalization and Blend Facility A pre-bid presentation will be posted under contract J06075C28 REBID on Quest CDN and the District's Procurement Opportunities web page no later than 3:00 p.m. on August 24, 2022.
