Description | The Pioneer Elementary School project generally consists of: 1. Demolition of three large air handling units, one single room air conditioning unit and associated roof-top condensing unit. 2. Installation of a new packaged air-cooled chiller, hydronic distribution, concrete slab, and fence. 3. Installation of four new air handling units and modifications to connect to the existing ductwork. Contractor is responsible to order units with adequate shipping splits to allow installation in existing locations 4. Installation of two new chilled water coils in two existing air handling units. 5. Installation of new grilles and insulating existing ductwork where indicated on the project drawings. 6. Removal of a portion of an existing wall for the installation of a new door. 7. Modifications to the existing electrical feeds and disconnects to the removed and new mechanical equipment. 8. Modifications of existing controls and installation of new direct digital control the Owner’s stipulated subcontractor for the controls work. The Valley View Elementary School project generally consists of: 1. Demolition of one large air handling units, two single room air conditioning units and associated roof-top condensing units. 2. Numerous classroom unit ventilators will be removed from service. Power disconnected, hot water supply and return removed, and outside air louvers sealed. 3. Installation of a new packaged air-cooled chiller, hydronic distribution, concrete slab, and fence. 4. Installation of two new air handling units and roof-top air distribution systems and one new air-handling unit replacement connecting to the existing ductwork. Contractor is responsible to order units with adequate shipping splits to allow installation in existing locations. 5. Installation of three new chilled water coils in three existing air handling units. 6. Installation of roof-top ductwork outside air hoods, relief ductwork, insulation, supports, curbs, and flashing. 7. Insulating existing ductwork where indicated on the project drawings. 8. Demolition of existing cabinets and installation of new studs, gypsum, paint, and wall base at new duct chases. 9. Installation of new ductwork, VAV’s, dampers, diffusers, and modifications to existing hot water piping in existing classrooms. 10. Installation of new frames to support the roof at new duct penetrations and lintels at wall penetrations 11. Modifications to the existing electrical feeds and disconnects to the removed and new mechanical equipment. The High School project generally consists of: 1. Demolition of seven air handling units, numerous single room air conditioning units and associated roof-top condensing units. 2. Numerous classroom unit ventilators will be removed from service. Power disconnected, hot water supply and return removed, and outside air louvers sealed. 3. Installation of three new roof-top packaged air-cooled chillers, unit screening, hydronic distribution, structural support frame, roof curbs, and flashing. 4. Installation of three new air handling units and roof-top air distribution systems and four new air-handling unit replacements connecting to the existing ductwork. Contractor is responsible to order units with adequate shipping splits to allow installation in existing locations. 5. Installation of six new chilled water coils in existing air handling units. 6. Installation of roof-top ductwork outside air hoods, relief ductwork, insulation, supports, curbs, and flashing. 7. Insulating existing ductwork where indicated on the project drawings. 8. Installation of new studs, gypsum, paint, and wall base at new duct chases. 9. Installation of new wall and door to create a new mechanical room in the existing teacher’s lounge. 10. Installation of new ductwork, VAV’s, dampers, diffusers, and modifications to existing hot water piping in existing classrooms 11. Installation of new frames to support the roof at new duct penetrations and lintels at wall penetrations. 12. Modifications to the existing electrical feeds and disconnects to the removed and new mechanical equipment. 13. Modifications of existing controls and installation of new direct digital controls DDC). Automated Logic is the Owner’s stipulated subcontractor for the controls work. Contractors will need coordinate their work with Automated Logic. |
