Grounds Maintenance at the Aviation Weather Research Facility

The contractor shall prepare the field for the PNT Demonstration in March 2020 which requires some maintenance to the field and fire roads in the property around Building #2410. This work has been broken down into three (3) required tasks and two (2) optional tasks. Figure 1 shows the red squares where driving portions of the demonstration will take place, the areas that have been cleared of vegetation but have a few small stumps and other hazards. These areas need to be cleared of hazards. The yellow areas are fire roads that will need to have some vegetation trimmed back and remove any large debris that has accumulated on the roads such as limbs or trees. The blue area is the entrance to the field from the pavement. We would like to add a surface of small/crushed stone to prevent vehicles from sinking into the mud on wet days. The first optional task will be to come back at the end of February and clear the roads and areas of any debris if needed. The second optional task will be to provide onsite support for a minimum of 3, with a maximum of 6, days in February and March 2020 with equipment and gravel (or agreed upon material / method) to repair soft areas in the roads or areas as needed during the demonstration.
