Atlanta-Newnan Road Pump Station and Force Main

Provide Design-Build Services (“D/B Services”) for the design and construction of Atlanta-Newnan Road Pump Station and Force Main This project will require all engineering, construction, quality control, etc., for the design, permitting, and construction of the new Atlanta-Newnan Road Pump Station and force main project. This project includes but is not limited to the final construction plans, specifications, permitting, and construction of a new South Chattahoochee Hills Pump Station, the construction of a forcemain from the Atlanta-Newnan Road Pump Station to the Little Bear Wastewater Reclamation Facility, the construction of a new Little Bear Pump Station, the construction of a force main from the Little Bear Pump Station to the Ono Road Pump Station, and theremoval of the Little Bear Wastewater Reclamation Facility. The Design-Build firm will provide all services necessary to complete the design, permitting, and construction of this project. The new Atlanta-Newnan Road Pump Station will be constructed justnorth of the intersection of Atlanta Newnan Road and Serenbe Lane on the east side of Atlanta Newnan Road on property being acquired by Fulton County. The force main will be installed within the right of right north along Atlanta Newnan Road to Rico Tatum Road, then east along Rico Tatum Road to Cochran Mill Road, the north along Cochran Mill Road to Wilkerson Mill Road, then east along Wilkerson Mill Road just east of Little Bear Creek. This force main will then join with another force main constructed at the site of the existing Little Bear Wastewater Treatment Facility. The existing facility will be replaced with a new pump station and the existing treatment facility decommissioned. A force main will be constructed from the new pump station to the force main from Atlanta-Newnan Road Pump Station along Wilkerson Mill Road. The combined force main will thence proceed east along Wilkerson Mill Road to Ono Road; thence north along Ono Road to just north of Bear Creek where the force main will flow into the OnoRoad Pump Station. A temporary force main will be designed to divert the flow from the Atlanta-Newnan Road Pump Station into the Little Bear Pump Station. Piping and valves shall be installed to allow the flow from Atlanta-Newnan Road Pump Stationto be diverted into either the Little Bear Pump Station or the Little Bear to Ono force main. The Little Bear Pump Station shall also be constructed to allow a new 24-inch gravity sewer line to enter the new pump station at an elevation a minimum of 3-feet below the high water level of Little Bear Pump Station
