Description

STIP ID 609022B01 SR 261 Overcrossing Bridges (N&S) built in 1958 are structurally deficient. Widen and rehabilitate structures and repair bridge decks with modified concrete overlay to preserve and extend the life of the bridges. As of April 11, 2023, this project is in Design status. Preliminary engineering is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2021 and environmental design is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022. The contract advertisement is expected in first quarter of 2024 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the fourth quarter of 2024. WSDOT - I-90/SR 261 EB and WB Bridges - Structure Rehabilitation *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
