| Description | The goal of the RFP is to provide services that effectively collect and dispose of solid waste and recycling in a manner that is consistent with applicable State, Federal and local laws and regulations, while maximizing the fullest recovery of recyclable materials possible with the least impact on the environment and in a cost effective manner so as to enhance the safety and aesthetics of the Town. Objectives to achieving this goal include: 1. Encourage and facilitating the recovery, reuse and recycling of material within the waste stream. 2.Minimizing the rate of waste generation through education and source reduction. |
