Description

The Nashville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a firm fixed-price construction contract. The work will involve paving repairs, sub-base preparation and concrete curb placement at specified areas per the plans and specifications. The asphalt mixture, construction, and placement are to meet the requirements of Tennessee Department of Transportation Standard Specification for Road and Bridge Construction (TDOT SSRBC), current edition, unless otherwise specified in the plans and specifications. Location: The work is located at Center Hill Lake Recreation Area- Floating Mill Campground near Silver Point, TN. Exact locations for work at Floating Mill Campground are indicated in the contract drawings. DISCLOSURE OF THE MAGNITUDE OF THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: Between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS CODE AND SIZE STANDARD: 237310- Highway, Steet, and Bridge Construction; Size Standard: $45.0M TYPE OF SET ASIDE: Total Small Business Set-Aside SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The anticipated release date for this solicitation is on or around 10 March 2023. The Solicitation will be posted to both SAM.gov and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module. SITE VISIT DATE: A site visit is scheduled for 23 March 2023. Potential Offerors are advised that this date is subject to change. Potential Offerors are highly encouraged to submit site visit request forms ahead of time if you are interested in attending the site visit. Each individual will be responsible providing his/her own safety equipment (i.e. hard hats, steel toed safety shoes, etc.). Contractors who are interested in attending the site visit are strongly encouraged to submit the site visit request form as soon as possible to avoid missing the submission deadline for the forms. Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the contract performance (FAR52.237-1, Site Visit). SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Offerors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (https://sam.gov) and PIEE at the time a bid is submitted in order to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements. Registration for PIEE is required as this is the only place bids shall be submitted. ADDITIONAL INFOMRATION: Specific information pertaining to this procurement will be available in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted on the SAM.gov website, https://sam.gov and PIEE Solicitation Module.
