Description | The City of Fayetteville is accepting sealed bids from properly licensed firms for electrical improvements as part of the Upper Ramble Phase 1. The project includes, but is not limited to, electrical improvements on West Ave. between Spring and Dickson Streets. Project consists of street and utility improvements of West Ave. between Spring and Dickson streets and greenway upgrades between Center and Spring Streets. This bid is for the Electrical scope of work. All other bid packages have been previously bid. Question Deadline 01/19/2023 at 12:00 PM CT Bidders shall submit questions in writing to the City of Fayettevilles Purchasing Div. by the established deadline. Questions should reference specific details, plan sheets, specifications, or bid manual sections Questions should be addressed to Amanda Beilfuss, Sr. Purchasing Agent at abeilfuss@fayetteville-ar.gov or by calling (479) 575-8220. Each bid exceeding $50,000 shall be accompanied by a cashier's check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. In the event a bidder opts to submit a cashier's check for a bid bond, the actual physical cashier's check shall be delivered to the City prior to the deadline. A one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bond is required with the contract awarded, inclusive of any approved contingency. A State of Arkansas Contractor's License is required for all bids exceeding $50,000 and license shall be valid at the time of bid deadline. Any bidder performing service shall be registered with the Arkansas Secretary of State. Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203 The City of Fayetteville encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, City of Fayetteville encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority and women business enterprises. The City of Fayetteville reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, and postpone the award of any Contract for a period which shall not exceed beyond ninety (90) days from the bid opening date. |
