| Description | The City of Hampton of Hampton, Georgia will be soliciting Request for Bids (RFB) from qualified Electric Utility Line Contractors for planned Distribution (medium voltage) Electric Utility Line Improvements. All prospective Bidders/Contractors will be required to complete and submit prequalification documents for review. All prequalification documents submitted will be vetted before an RFB package is offered. Project Scope: This will be a labor-only contract, other than specific Contractor supplied materials that are listed in the RFB (i.e.: stone or concrete pole backfill, erosion items, etc.). The project will consist of reconducting/rebuilding approximately 0.75 miles of three-phase 1/0 ACSR (Raven) to 750 AAC (Cattail) and reconducting/rebuilding approximately 0.25 miles of three-phase 1/0 ACSR (Raven) to 336 ACSR (Merlin). There will be electric utility line right-of-way vegetation clearing required along these routes. |
