A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and labor and material payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum at the time of execution of the contract. Such bonds shall be by a Surety acceptable to the Owner. All bidders must hold a Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Alabama State Board of Contractors as and when required by state law. The number shall appear on the proposal and on the outside of the sealed envelope (email if PDF package), unless the proposal is less than $50,000.00 in which case it shall be so stated on the envelope. No proposals may be withdrawn with thirty days after bid opening. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder if sufficient funds are available. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities.
