Middlesex Community College Bedford Quad Patio Project

Agency Name and Address Middlesex Community College 591 Springs Road Bedford, MA 01730 Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Project consists generally of constructing a new concrete-paved patio, as well as related work, including but not limited to selected demolition and site preparation, surface and sub-surface storm drainage utility modifications, sub-base materials and other preparation work in advance of forming and placing the concrete patio, and restoration of existing adjacent landscaped and paved areas that are disturbed during the execution of the Work. Refer to Section 012300 ALTERNATES for Add Alternate scope description of permanent in-ground cast-in-place footings and tent tie-back anchors. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to the MIDDLESEX COMMUNITY COLLEGE BEDFORD. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000. The work is estimated to cost $241,287.00. Time of Completion: The Contractor shall commence work under this Contract on the date specified in the written “Notice to Proceed" and shall bring all Work to Substantial Completion on or before May 12, 2023. Final Completion shall be on or before May 26, 2023. Damages for delays in the performance of the Work shall be in accordance with Article 8.3.2 of the General Conditions of the Contract.
