Sanitary Sewer Phase 88 Manhole Rehabilitation

In general, this work consists of: Cleaning and preparation of sanitary sewer manholes prior to rehabilitation, including removing existing liners, debris, existing utility cables etc. Repair of sanitary sewer manholes including cementitious lining, repair of bench and invert, removing and replacing frame and cover, resetting and resealing frame and cover, raising sanitary sewer manholes, grouting exterior of manhole frames, removing and relocating pipe and/or cable through sanitary sewer manholes, and repair of sanitary sewer manholes with epoxy materials. Contractor shall initiate coordination with pipe and/or cable owner within 30 days of notice to proceed and provide proof of ongoing communication throughout the project at a frequency of at least once every 30 days until completed. Bypass pumping, as directed by Engineer, to properly rehabilitate any manholes where a flow through bridge or plug is not a viable option. The cost for flow through bridges or plugs shall be included in other work items.
