Description | Scope includes all necessary labor, materials, equipment, facilities, and management necessary to provide mtechnical engineering services to complete detailed design and construction of a VMF, pavement aprons, and wayside parking area according to the requirements documented in Section, 3.0, of this statement of work Design services from all engineering disciplines; fire code analysis, structural analysis, architectural, utility sizing, electrical to include calculated arc flash analysis, plumbing, sewer, heating ventilation and air conditioning, storm water, and erosion control and traffic flow/vehicle maneuvering (list may not be all inclusive). All necessary facility electrical, plumbing, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning work (HVAC), fire alarm, fire sprinkler system, security requirements, and specified furnishings. Necessary site earthwork, walkways, and gravel for building area preparation and any additional foundations including earth-retaining structures if deemed necessary. Necessary site clearing, grubbing, earthwork, pavement, and gravel for site access and foundations including equipment step off pads to prepare vehicles for transit on public roads during construction. Earth retaining structures and channel liners, if deemed necessary, shall be provided to protect building foundations and all existing structures from heavy storm water runoff in adjacent wet weather conveyance channels and runoff redirected because of construction activities. Any necessary channel liners shall be constructed similar to existing liners, formed reinforced concrete; dry stacked block for this application will not be accepted. Erosion protection scope also includes a limited number of facility commissioning requirements, specifically air compressors and compressed air piping, lubricant oil piping, vehicle lifts, a rideable material lift, and a gantry crane.
