Description

Qualified company(s) to install flexi-pave or an approved equal from recycled tires and aggregate base around tree grates throughout the City of Tampa: 1. Aggregate needs to be compacted to avoid settling; 2. Aggregate needs to be 57 stone granite, 2 inches thick allowing for 1.5 inches rubber surface where possible; 3. There shall be a minimum of 1 inch of flexi-pave or approved equal, rubber surface in all locations; 4. Where there is a replacement rubber surface being added, Awardee shall clean down to existing aggregate before replacing rubber surface; 5. When replacing a grate with a rubber surface, Awardee shall dig 3.5 inches to apply 2 inches of aggregate and 1.5 inches of rubber surface; 6. Excavation shall stop when roots are encountered; 7. When shallower than 3.5 inches, the Awardee shall adjust aggregate and apply rubber at a minimum of 1 inch; 8. Rubber surface shall be level with surrounding surfaces;
