Door and Key Repair, Maintenance, and Installation - As-Needed Basis

Dakota County is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide door and key repair, maintenance and installation on an as-needed basis. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or corporate surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid, as bid security. The successful bidder is required to furnish a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to the base bid. The purpose of this contract is to secure countywide door and key maintenance, repair, and installation services. The term of the contract shall be January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023 with two options to extend the contract for 2024 and 2025 respectively. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in the Bid Document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the opening bids. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project November 2022 at its regular meeting at the Administration Center, 1590 Hwy 55, Hastings, MN and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding.
