Description

a) East Burke Street – Queen Street to Railroad Tracks: 800 linear feet; 40 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2 inches of milling; 2 inch wearing course; 4 handicapped ramps, and crosswalk. b) West Burke Street – Raleigh Street to Maple Street: 720 linear feet; 40 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2 inches of milling; 2 inch wearing course, 4 crosswalks and 2 school letters. c) ALLEY – End of Gussie down to East Burke Street: 345 linear feet; 15 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 1 inch wearing course. d) West King Street – Tuskegee to Rosemont: 1,460 linear feet; 40 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2 inches of milling and 2 inch wearing course. The contractor shall install a trench drain with Cast iron (metal) grates on West King St at Valley Avenue. These grates will replace the metal plates that are currently under the existing asphalt. They will need to be installed to match the grade of the new asphalt. e) West Addition Street – Porter Avenue to Carolina: 1,125 linear feet; 40 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2 inches of milling and 2 inch wearing course. f) North Street – Tennessee Avenue to Louisiana Avenue: 360 linear feet; 20 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2 inches of milling and 2 inch wearing course. g) Morrow Avenue – Northwestern to Oliver: 775 linear feet, 25 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 1 inch of milling and 1 inch wearing course. h) West Virginia Avenue – Wilson Street to Thompson: 920 linear feet; 40 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2 inch wearing course. Alternate Bid: a) East John Street – Oak Street to Firearms Range: 2,115 linear feet at generally 15 feet wide; 85 linear feet at 25 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2-inch base course and 2 inch surface wearing course. b) South Alabama Avenue – Stephen Street to King Street: 920 linear feet; 40 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2 inches of milling; 2 inch wearing course; 3 handicapped ramps, school lettering; and 2 crosswalks. c) North Red Hill Road – Race Street to Dead End: 1,000 linear feet; 25 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2 inches of milling and 2 inch wearing course. d) Mulberry Drive – Entire street: 475 linear feet; 25 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2 inches of milling and 2 inch wearing course. e) West Martin Street – Queen to Raleigh Street: 1,440 linear feet; 40 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2 inches of milling and 2 inch wearing course. f) West John Street – Raleigh Street to Church Street and Maple Avenue to Queen Street: 1,100 linear feet; 35 feet wide. Anticipated activities include 2 inches of milling and 2 inch wearing course.
